The upcoming health system reforms will put a greater emphasis on primary and community healthcare services and ensure fairer access for all New Zealanders to quality healthcare.
A key component to the implementation of the health system reforms will be the establishment of localities. These connected, community-based precincts will care for whānau in a more seamless and accessible way.
To facilitate awareness of localities for providers and the communities, ProCare has recently launched the Reimagining Health initiative and website as an initial platform for engagement and a starting point for partnership towards collective impact for health and wellbeing advocacy.
